Effects: Adding Images and Videos
You can overlay images and videos onto your original video. You can even overlay the same video (live or recorded) or overlay live video onto recorded video. You can also add images and videos into your original video. See Editing Video for information on adding still images or videos into your video.

Adding Overlaid Images and Videos

Adding an image or video as an overlay is treated as an element in the Effects chain.

To add an image or video that overlays the video:

Choose Add Another Movie/Image from the Effects menu. Select an image or video using the Open dialog.

Or, drag an image from the Image Library (pix) or a video from the Video Library (flix) in Videator.

Or, drag an image or video file from the Finder or iPhoto.

When you drag in an image or video file, you’ll be asked if you want to overlay the image or video or add it to the video at the end of the selection point. Click the Overlay Image button. (To add or insert the video into your current recorded video, see
